The idea of jumping into freelance consulting originated with Peter over a good glass of wine in the Spring of 2021 on advice from people in his network. Shortly thereafter the safety line from corporate life was cut by Peter and Kjærsgaard Consulting was founded.

With a background from corporate finance advisory, and several years in corporate M&A and business development, Peter has extensive end-to-end experience from both sell-side and buy-side perspective in relation to mergers and acquisitions.

The ambition behind Kjærsgaard Consulting is to leverage on this set of skills and experience to provide hands-on sell-side advisory to small and medium-sized businesses and their owners in connection with divestments, and buy-side advisory to companies looking to expand their business and take it to the next level through acquisitions.

In the fall of 2022, Elsebeth started freelance consulting as well, and became partner in Kjærsgaard Consulting. Elsebeth has a strong project management and financial skill-set obtained from various roles in some of the large Danish corporates. As freelance consultant she is leveraging on this set of skills and her experience to engage in assignments within project management and execution as well as consulting on management and corporate reporting.

On a private note, we are married and living in Risskov near Aarhus with our sons Erik and Viktor enjoying the proximity to both nature and city in our leisure time.
